Memo and Fact Sheet: portfolio_filip_memofactsheet_final2.pdf
Issue Analysis: protfolio_filiph_issueanalysis_final3.pdf
In essence, the above four projects were my progressive attempt in communicating my risk communication effort regarding the subprime mortgage crisis. If this semester had been seen holistically, the blog may well have been as important as one of the four projects listed above. Although the projects could stand alone to communicate the risks associated with subprime mortgages, the memo and fact sheet were intended to be the first in the progressive movement. The memo and fact sheet introduced the topic to the general public and identified the stakeholders. Next, the issue analysis was a more comprehensive view of the crisis, including a more detailed background and proposed ideas. The press release project could be the “call for action” phase of the work effort, because I created fictional situations that could deploy the basic subprime mortgage information and risks in a realistic fashion. Finally, the newsletter expounded upon all aspects of the semester via fictional articles tied together in a broad educational packet that was soundly rooted in research.
